Pewter Grey Silk Nipped Waist 2 pc New Look Suit circa 1940s

1940s new look style silk suit in pewter grey. Nipped waist jacket curves over tops of hips, button trimmed pockets at bust. Self buttons, cuffs at sleeves. Skirt has seamed vertical bands narrowing at waist, side metal hook and zipper. Hand made. There is wear to edges at top of skirt and cuff tips, small spot left bust as shown, small spot front of skirt as shown.
