Jet Black Slinky Silk Charmeuse Slip Dress circa 1930s

Dramatic late 1930s deep black silk charmeuse slip dress/under dress. Side metal snaps, low back. Has a sort of lighter watermark? fade? around the knee area, but you have to really look to see it- shown in photos lightened to show up. No label, likely hand made. No holes.
