Houndstooth Checked Grey and Black Suit with Long Pencil Skirt Button Slit circa 1980s

1940s inspired 1980s wool houndstooth suit with long, lean pencil skirt that has buttons up back slit. One loop and button closes waist, another button inside jacket secures- padded shoulders, lined. I can absolutely see this on Elaine Benis with little white socks and penny loafers! From the British store Austin Reed.
