Black Weighted Silk Asymmetrical Overskirt Jet Beaded Tassels circa 1910s

Fabulous 1910s black weighted silk overskirt with jet beaded tassels on front points. This is clearly hand made and does have some issues but is absolutely wearable. The front sides are different lengths- the right side has been stitched into a small ruched section which appears original. The back is also ruched to create a "bustle" effect. The waist band ribbons had wear on one side. I have done some repairs and added ribbon on one side of the waist. This simply ties shut- no hooks or snaps, so will fit a range or waist sizes up to 28" and one could add more ribbon to go bigger. As is (oh, also could be worn as a cape!). An old and unusual pieces that reminds me of Paul Poirot.
