1850s Civil War era woodsy bark brown textured wool dress with black and white fabric trim on bodice and hem. Hook and eye closure up front behind placket trimmed with decorative fabric covered buttons. Dropped shoulders. Lace trim on wide sleeves- one side still has the black and white wool band beneath lace. I have some extra lace I will send along.

Waist had been sewn shut, stitches removed to show on mannequin- will need hooks and eyes around front to side to restore. Lined in muslin.  Some scattered holes and spots, quite minor for the age! Hand made.

Measures

33" bust, 23" waist, 15" bodice, 56" long, 22" sleeves
